Infiniti FX is a mid size cross over SUV manufactured by the Japan based car maker Infiniti, which is a child company of Nissan. The car has seen the market in the year 2003 and is in its second generation phase now. The second generation cars are more advanced than the first. FX 35 and FX 45 are the first generation models. 35 and 45 denote the engine capacities. FX 35 is fitted with a 3.5 litre V6 engine which gives 0-60 mph (97 km/h): 7.1 seconds and records a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h). Whereas FX 45 is fitted with a 4.5 litre V8 engine which roars from 0-60 mph (97 km/h): 6.3 seconds and records a top speed of 145 mph (233 km/h).

In 2009 the car is redesigned and had its second appearance in the Geneva motor show.
